"I don't know where I would be without my sessions with Ada! I think what I appreciate the most is the reassurance that I have the power to heal within myself and it's not something that I'm looking for. Ada has helped me to understand that we all have wisdom and the ability to awaken dormant parts of ourselves. Don't be mistaken, ADA HELPS US TO DO THAT!! I don't think it matters why you come to her. If you are called, you will know that you have a guide in your life who will help you see the light that has been there all along. I love you Ada and I love my sessions and I love myself for the way that I am able to walk in the world."

"Somatic sessions can leave one feeling pretty vulnerable and bare. Ada's nuance and sensitivity in these sessions is a welcome antidote. Even through a zoom window, she has the unique ability to notice minute changes in expression and bearing to seamlessly guide the exercises to spaces of insight, with her limitless empathy and compassion." -Anonymous

Ada Johnson led a baby weaning ceremony group I was a part of during a difficult transition moment of my life and within minutes made me feel comfortable and connected to a room full of strangers that I then was able to share personal details with and be honest, open, vulnerable and whole in necessary and healing ways. I highly recommend her as a practitioner, she is inclusive and models the healing. She works with each person individually where you are at and is a wonderful person and parent. I feel grateful to have been able to share space with her and learn from her.

"Ada was the doula for our youngest child's birth and early life. Ada is a highly experienced and knowledgeable birth worker and healer-- she helped us navigate a stressful, highly medicalized prenatal course, a traumatic birth, and a both taxing and joyful post-natal experience. I deeply relied on and trusted Ada's wisdom, advice, and sense of things during the prenatal, postnatal, and birthing process. Ada was excellent at setting and helping us maintain boundaries. And she was able to help me understand my needs and reactions during the process. Ada supported multiple overlapping things for us-- that the experience was joyful, scary, traumatic, exhausting, happy, sad, all at once; that the hospital / medical system can be both important and also limited and harmful. Ada kept us grounded with her presence, deep compassion, warmth, love, and calm. She created and held space for us so that we could both make difficult decisions and still celebrate our kid's existence. Truly, Ada is a healer and we are so grateful we got to work with her."

I wanted to formally reach out to you and thank you for facilitating our covid grief meetings. I know I missed the last session but I was truly thankful for the opportunity to meet everyone and to discuss our grief. I just want you to know that the meetings were great and that you did a phenomenal job as moderator. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future. I'm wishing you the best. -I'aliyah
